The Magic of Traveling:

Catch a glimpse of my trips from a few years ago...

The beauty of Maine

Maine is mainly known for its scenery, mostly rocky coastline, its low mountains and wild forests as well as for its seafood cuisine, especially lobster and claims.
Portland is the most popular and largest city in Maine and it's famous for its Old Port district along Portland Harbour, where Portland Head Light is located.
Thanks to the plenty of woods, lakes, rivers, hills, and mountains, Maine can offer a unique experience for travelers that love adventure and nature.

Cape Town in South Africa
Cape Town with its famous harbour and natural setting in the Cape Floristic Region, as well as the Table Mountain and Cape Point, is one of the most fascinating city I have ever been. From Table Mountain the scenery is breathtaking: you have the sensation to be at the top of the world in the wildest place on earth.
The city is the most popular destination in South Africa and its Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is the most visited attraction due to its restaurants, cafès and clubs. The city is noted for its architectural heritage, with the highest density of Cape Dutch style buildings in the world.

Dakar-Senegal
Dakar is the capital and largest city of Senegal and it is located on the Cap Vert Peninsula on the Atlantic coast and it's the westernmost city on the African mainland. There are major attractions in the city: the Dakar Grand Mosque, the Dakar Cathedral and the newly completed Renaissance Monument, which is the tallest statue in Africa. The city also offers beautiful beaches and clifftop walks. Markets are very busy and sellers are willing to negotiate the price of their products with tourists.
At sunset, it is easy to see the picturesque and colourful fishing boats leaving the shore on Dakar beach.

Namib Desert

The Namib is a coastal desert in southern Africa. The name "Namib" means "vast place". From the Atlantic coast eastward, the desert gradually ascends in elevation reaching up to 200 kilometres (120 mi).

The Namib is home to very endemic species, more than any other desert in the world.

It is amazing to stare in front of the ocean and a never-ending stretch of golden sand at the same time. The immensity of this natural environment gives me a sense of the immense power of mother nature.

Chicago at first glance

Chicago has a colorful mosaic of neighborhoods and buzzes energy with its stunning skyscrapers. The city is the third most populated in the USA, after New York and Los Angeles. The suburban area is so highly populated that it's called Chicagoland. Chicago is the venue for millions of domestic and international visitor each year. The city is famous for its outdoor public art as well as for its lively cultural life: visual art, film, theaters and music events make this city incredibly exciting and innovative. The city gained the nickname of Windi City for its very famous high speed winds, blowing especially during winter season.

Red Rocks Park is part of the Denver Mountains Park system. The park also hosts the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, one of the most popular concert venue in the world. Prodigies such as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Sting performed here. Its acoustic system is close to perfection.

Here I visit the Buffalo Bill's Grave and Museum. From here the view is breathtaking: on one side the beauty of the Rocky Mountains covered with snow and on the other side the vanishing skyline of Denver.
